I'm Sara Moreira, an Associate Professor (untenured) in the Strategy group at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. Before joining Northwestern University, I received my Ph.D. in Economics from The University of Chicago. 

My general areas of interest are applied macroeconomics and industrial organization, with an emphasis on the dynamics of business formation, growth, and productivity. I am currently engaged in a variety of research projects that use micro data from large datasets to study key aspects of the aggregate evolution of entrepreneurial activity, innovation, and labor demand in the economy. 

I teach Business Strategy (STRT-431) in the MBA curriculum at Kellogg.
